How does the 5-day rental work?

Your rental includes 5 full calendar days. We pick up on the 6th day, allowing you to use the dumpster for the full five rental days. If the 6th day falls on a Sunday, we'll pick up on Monday at no extra charge. Need the dumpster longer? No problem! Additional days are $5/day for 10, 15 and 20 yard dumpsters and $15/day for 30 and 40 yard dumpsters.

What if I go over the weight limit?

Each dumpster size includes a set weight limit. If your debris exceeds the included weight, the charge is $35 for up to 0.5 tons over. Beyond 0.5 tons, additional weight is billed at $70 per ton, based on the landfill weight ticket.

When and how do I pay?

We accept Zelle, checks, cash, debit cards and credit cards. Please note that all credit card payments are subject to a 3% processing fee. Your initial invoice will be sent by email and text message and must be paid before delivery or on the day of delivery, prior to the dumpster being delivered. If there is any remaining balance, a final invoice will be sent after the dumpster has been picked up and emptied. The remaining balance must be paid within 24 hours of receiving the invoice.

What is a dig-out fee?

In colder months, debris can freeze solid inside a dumpster. Landfills may charge a separate dig-out fee, typically between $70 and $100 per dig-out. This fee is not included in our standard service and will be added to the customer’s total if required. Customers are responsible for all applicable dig-out fees.

How full can I load the dumpster?

Keep everything level with the top edges of the dumpster and below the yellow maximum loading line. This allows us to safely tarp the load for transport.

Can I move the dumpster myself?

No. Do not move the dumpster yourself. If it needs to be moved, please contact us so we can arrange for it to be relocated safely.

Q: What can't go in the dumpster?

Not allowed: appliances with Freon, asbestos, hazardous waste, radioactive materials, chemotherapeutic waste, explosive and ordnance materials, gas cylinders, infectious, pathological or biological waste, liquid waste including motor oil and paint, lead-acid batteries, motor vehicle parts, TVs, computers and other electronic waste, buckets and other containers unless lids have been removed and interiors are cleaned and free of residue.

Q: Can I cancel my order?

Yes. There is no cancellation fee if we receive notice in advance. If we are not notified and the driver has already been dispatched for delivery, a $70 dry run fee will apply.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of cleanedumpster.com (the “Site”) and to dumpster rentals from CleanE Dumpster (“we,” “us”), 723 N. James Rd, Columbus, OH 43219. By requesting a dumpster on the Site or by phone, or by accepting delivery, you agree to these Terms.

1. Requests and confirmation

A request submitted on the Site or by phone is a request, not a confirmed order. We will contact you to confirm the dumpster size, delivery and pickup dates, address, placement and price. Your rental is confirmed once we confirm it with you. Delivery dates depend on availability; we do not deliver or pick up on Sundays.

2. Prices and what is included

The flat rate for each dumpster size includes delivery, pickup, transportation and disposal up to the included weight, and the standard rental period. Current prices are listed on the Site:

10 cubic yards — $299, 1 ton included, 5-day rental
15 cubic yards — $349, 2 tons included, 5-day rental
20 cubic yards — $399, 3 tons included, 5-day rental
30 cubic yards — $499, 4 tons included, 5-day rental
40 cubic yards — $599, 5 tons included, 5-day rental

Delivery is included within 25 miles of our yard. Delivery beyond 25 miles is available for an additional fee, which we will quote before confirming your order.

The following charges may apply in addition to the flat rate, as described in these Terms: additional rental days, excess weight beyond the included allowance, appliances without Freon, tires, dry runs, dumpster repositioning, frozen-load dig-out services, the extended rental fee beyond 35 rental days, and credit card processing fees.

We will inform you in advance of the additional charges that can be determined before delivery or service.

3. Rental period and extensions

Your rental includes 5 full calendar days. We pick up on the 6th day, so you have the dumpster for the full five days. If the 6th day falls on a Sunday, we pick up on Monday at no extra charge. We never remove the dumpster without confirming with you first.

If you finish using the dumpster before the 5-day rental period ends, you may request an early pickup by notifying us. Please note that the rental price remains the same, even if the dumpster is picked up early.

Need the dumpster longer? Additional days are $5 per day for 10, 15 and 20 yard dumpsters and $15 per day for 30 and 40 yard dumpsters. Please let us know at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup.

Extended rental fee. If a dumpster remains on site for more than 35 days from the delivery date, an extended rental fee applies. The fee equals 50% of the original rental price and is charged again every 30 days thereafter. The daily rate for additional days continues to apply in addition to the extended rental fee.

4. Weight limits

Each dumpster size includes the weight shown above. If the excess weight is up to 0.5 tons, the additional charge is $35. If the excess weight is more than 0.5 tons, the charge is $70 per additional ton, with the actual excess weight determined by the landfill weight ticket.

5. Loading and prohibited materials

Load all debris level with the top edges of the dumpster and below the yellow maximum fill line, so the load can be safely covered with a tarp for transport. If the dumpster is overloaded, you will be required to remove the excess debris before pickup. If the excess is not removed, an overload fee of $70 applies.

The following materials are not permitted in the dumpster: appliances containing Freon, asbestos, hazardous waste, radioactive materials, chemotherapeutic waste, explosives and ordnance materials, gas cylinders and propane tanks, infectious, pathological or biological waste, liquid waste (including motor oil and paint), lead-acid batteries, motor vehicle parts, televisions, computers and other electronic waste. Buckets and other containers are also prohibited unless their lids have been removed and their interiors are clean and free of residue.

Appliances that do not contain Freon, and tires, may be accepted for an additional fee. We also accept dirt, concrete, gravel and bricks. Please contact us for pricing.

If prohibited materials are found in the dumpster before pickup, you will be required to remove them. If prohibited materials are discovered at the landfill or disposal facility, you are responsible for all related disposal charges, fines and other associated costs.

6. Placement, access and your property

You choose the placement location and are responsible for making sure it is safe and accessible: a firm, level surface with clear access for our truck and enough overhead clearance (no low wires or branches). You do not need to be home for delivery — just tell us where you would like the dumpster placed.

If the dumpster must be placed on a public street, sidewalk or other public property, you are responsible for obtaining any permit your city requires.

We place wooden boards under every contact point to help protect your driveway, and our drivers sweep up loose debris around the placement area when the dumpster is removed. A loaded dumpster is heavy, however, and we are not responsible for damage to driveways, lawns, landscaping, curbs, sprinkler systems, septic systems or underground utilities at the location you choose, unless the damage is caused by our negligence. Please tell us in advance about any underground lines or soft surfaces.

7. Do not move the dumpster

Once the dumpster has been delivered and placed, you must not move or reposition it under any circumstances. If repositioning is necessary, please contact us directly to arrange the service. A $70 repositioning fee applies.

8. Payment

We accept Zelle, checks, cash, debit cards and credit cards. All credit card payments are subject to a 3% processing fee. We never store credit card details; card details are not collected on the Site.

Your initial invoice will be sent by email and text message and must be paid before delivery or on the day of delivery, before the dumpster is delivered. If there is a remaining balance (for example, extra days or weight over the included amount), a final invoice will be sent after the dumpster has been picked up and emptied. The remaining balance must be paid within 24 hours of receiving the invoice.

9. Cancellations and dry runs

You may cancel at no charge if we receive notice in advance. If we are not notified and the driver has already been dispatched for delivery, a $70 dry run fee applies. The same fee applies if we cannot deliver or pick up the dumpster because access is blocked — for example by parked vehicles, locked gates or low wires.

10. The dumpster and responsibility for it

The dumpster remains our property. While it is at your location, you are responsible for its use and for damage to it beyond normal wear, including damage caused by fire, paint, prohibited materials or misuse, at the cost of repair. You are responsible for what is placed in the dumpster, including by others, while it is at your location.

11. Delays and limitation of liability

We do our best to deliver and pick up on schedule, including same-day delivery when possible, but we are not responsible for delays caused by weather, road conditions, landfill or transfer station closures, or other events beyond our reasonable control.

To the fullest extent permitted by Ohio law, our total liability arising from a rental is limited to the amount you paid for that rental, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Communications

By submitting a request on the Site, you agree that we may contact you by phone, text message and email about your request and your order — for example, to confirm details, send invoices and follow up after your rental. We do not send marketing messages. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, or by telling us; we will then contact you by phone or email.

13. Using the Site

We try to keep the information on the Site accurate and current, but prices, availability and other details may change; the price confirmed with you for your order applies. The Site is provided “as is.” Do not misuse the Site, including by submitting false requests or attempting to interfere with it.

The Site is protected by reCAPTCHA, and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply. Reviews, ratings and links from Google Maps shown on the Site are provided by Google; your use of Google Maps features is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for third-party sites linked from the Site.

14. Record of your acceptance

To request a dumpster on the Site you must tick the box confirming that you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. When you do, we keep a record of your acceptance: the date and time, the details you submitted, the wording of the checkbox, the exact text of these Terms and of the Privacy Policy in effect at that moment, your IP address and your browser type. This record shows which version of these Terms applies to your order. See our Privacy Policy for how we keep it.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Franklin County, Ohio.

16. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. Each version is dated (“Last updated”), and the date is also shown next to the checkbox in the request form. The version in effect when you submit your request applies to that order, even if these Terms change later.
